Hi Raul,

I'm glad that you liked the tutorial. As for the question, what makes you think it is a problem with ARP specifically ? Is there some sort of indication that this is the case ?

Generally speaking, i would suggest taking a look at your scheduler, and making sure that it's set up correctly. If you are using a weighted scheduler, it's easy enough to have all of the connections be sent to one machine by accident.

Hello!!

I have followed your excelent tutorial with exactly the same server config except for the realservers which are Debian machines.

All seems to work properly but all the traffic of the piranha server seems to be redirected to only one of the servers. I think that there is a problem with ARP, ¿what could be the problem?.

Thanks!
Raul.

In answer to your excellent questions :

- The real server has a loopback interface with the VIP assigned to it, and using this interface, it can make packets with the VIP as the source.

- The listening IP would be the real IP, since that's where the LB will send the requests.
